Hey everyone,
One of my professors is from Tanzania and he mentioned that people from his country often dye their chickens green (by grinding grass in a mortar and pestle) to help camouflage the birds. I have never heard of this in the US but evidently it greatly helps lower the mortality rate in free range birds... pretty neat idea!
