Dying chickens!

I'm loosing a chicken a day 4 days in a row now! The adults seem to be fine. It's the new ones from this spring that are dying. They just seem to sit down and go to sleep and never get up. Any ideas?

I'm so sorry you are losing chickens. How old are they now? Are they showing any symptoms? Bloody poop, ruffled feathers, losing feathers, anything? Are they acting funny at all? Are they eating, drinking and pooping normally?

Thank you for your thoughtful reply, they seem to be healthy in every way, except that they just get lethargic and die. No dead chicks today though. Everyone is bright eyed and bushy tailed. They are 14 weeks old. NH reds.

I dusted their entire area with DE and started adding ACV to their water. I picked up some stuff from Agway today, I'll have to destroy all of our eggs for a while after treating the flock but our chickens should be well in about 6 days.

what did you get, such as9.6% corid, use 9.5cc per gal. of water.hope your problem is resolved soon

Sulmet is what they had, sulfamethazine sodium, 1 oz per gallon of water for 2 days then half that for 4 days.
