Hello to anyone reading this I have had problem with the roosters in my flock dying. They seem to get really skinny and then become one day just not able to walk and loose appetie. Iv would be more worried for my whole flock but out of the 5 birds i lost 4 were roosters. When i feel the breast meat on my birds almost all my hens have decent weight the roosters feel skinny. I have a young buff Orpington roo who has almost no breast meat but he eats and drinks water everyday. Can anyone guess what could be the problem?

Sorry you are losing birds. :hugs

Are males and females kept together?

When did you last deworm?

Did they have diarrhea or some other symptoms?

What exactly are you feeding including treats?

How old were the birds when they died?

What are their living conditions?

Do you check them and their coop regularly for poultry mites?

Aww, so sorry! :hugs But we'd have needed details like @LaFleche asked above. Without details, it isn't easy to help.

My first guess is worms, but it could be a combination of things.

I'd give your remaining bird(s) some Poultry Cell vitamins in their water every other day until it gets figured out.
