Each hen now has it's own tractor, is that ok?

Since I only have 2 and can't get my hands on anymore right now the pecking order is the game hen and the banty mix. Guess who is on the bottom, but I'm tellin' ya she is a cocky little hen! Dh decided to build another tractor and finished it over the weekend. He loves to build them. After watching them fly at each other while free ranging, rolling and fighting in the dirt and so on, I seperated them today.

So my question is. Was this the right thing to do? I realize they are a flock animal but will they be ok by themselves and when could I reintegrate them? I'm going to let them free range together tonight. We are going to move them so the tractors are side by side and they can still see each other. This is the first time in weeks the little one has been outside on the grass and eating and drinking. Before I would let the game hen out to free range and put her in the coop with the door closed so she could eat and drink. I also fed her in the henhouse as well.

Your opinions are appreciated!

I think it's a good idea to keep them side by side. That way they can give eachother the stink eye but no one gets hurt.

I had to take out one hen who was being MEAN to all my new chickens. I put her in a make shift cage that was attached to the main run. She was NOT happy! She bawked and bawked. I didn't keep her door closed either. She could free range if she wanted but she wanted to stay near and give everyone the evil eye. Two days later, in the evening, I put her back in with everyone...she was pretty good. Not as mean. Had learned some manners I think. It took a few more days, and now they're all friends.

Thanks for the reply! They were calling to each other tonight, but I didn't let them free range tonight because of the weather. But my little hen relished being outside all the rest of the day!
