If I were you I wouldn't jeopardize the situation in which you're getting away with having the Serama rooster. Adding one with a loud crow may lose you both.

Also I doubt a collar would prevent a cockerel from learning to crow, it's instinctual.

If you haven't already, you might want to check out numerous videos on youtube to see how much or little these collars work. IMO, they wouldn't dampen the sound enough to work on my property as I'm too close to my neighbors.

It did, as did the Bible quote. I'm aware of the risk I'm taking, and I'm also the only one who knows my neighbors, my situation, and my specific situation. I can appreciate differences of opinion on the safety of crow collars; I can't appreciate judgmental comments on my Biblical righteousness in this situation. My question was about a crow collar, not relating theology to local zoning ordinances.

Oh dear, I’m very sorry! I try to include the Bible in a lot of what I say, but I understand how it could be offensive. Please know it was not meant to be judgmental!
