Early hatch??!!

I have 12 coturnix quail eggs and we r at day 13 of incubation. And 2 of them are moving around quite a bit. It won't let me attach a video. But they r having a good wiggle like my previous lot did the day before hatching What do I do? Do I take out the turner?

At this stage, the last 3 days of incubation, they don't need to be turned. It's really up to you, if you decide to take the turner out now or wait another day or two! It won't hurt the embryos, even the late hatchers.

Thanks so much for your response. I'm panicking a bit thinking oh god r they gonna hatch earlier than expected. I'll take the turner out and start lockdown tonight

Our hatch of chickens last week threw me for a loop too. Just barely put them in lockdown and had 2 hatch early. Then the rest decided to join in. 8 the next day, 4 the day after and 2 after that. I always say my counting sucks because according to all the tables, they should have stayed inside longer lol guess they know best?

I'd like quail one day so im always reading on them

Honestly I'm checking them every bloody minute now my previous lot moved the same way a day before hatching lol. They are now all in lockdown and sure I can see a couple internal pips
