I have 11 khaki campbells. 7 females are just over a year old (aka The Bigs). 1 male and 3 more females are 11 weeks old (The Littles).

Today I gathered 7 eggs and I know that I didn't leave any yesterday. I know their hidey spots and they have been laying 7 a day for good 2 weeks straight.

As far as I know, none of the Bigs have ever laid two eggs in one day. And from my understanding the Littles are too young to be laying yet. Of the eggs gathered in the last few days, there was one (three days ago) that was about the size of a chicken egg... but I just took notice of it being a big on the teeny side and moved on. Since then they have all been in their normal size range.

Any thoughts?

I have 4 girls that are just over a year, and I have gotten 4 eggs a day, every day for over a month straight. Every other week or so I will get a smaller egg, but I think that is pretty normal. You are just having a good egg run! I wouldn't expect your littles to start contributing for another month or more, and they might not lay until spring if you live in a colder climate.

Thanks! Is that smaller egg in addition to the usual egg? Today we had an extra egg. :D

The Bigs started laying January... we are in Wisconsin, so we do get cold and snowy winters. I was shocked that they laid that early. Wasn't expecting them to start until closer to spring.

You said you have 7 adult females, and are getting 7 eggs a day?

I have gotten a bonus egg here and there - sometimes they will lay one early in the evening, and one in the morning, but it is not often.
