About 7:30 this mornin had a Jumbo Wild hatch, and 3 more since.. first one had bad legs, I banded them and have it confined in a mesh bag to sit for the next day or 2 undisturbed, so we will see if I cull it or not.. I expect that’s all the early ones, this evening and over night should be busy in both hatchers and I expect to see many bitties by mornin and then some late shift stragglers tomorrow off and on and into the night.. just wanted to share..

Homemade little hobbles.. they work sometimes.. it’s worth the shot.. little xsmall leg bands (Amazon) and the wife has these really little (but they stretch out big) clear rubber hair ties, I put a larks head on one end and slip the end over on the other end, apply other end first then larks head end, use leg bands as you should clear rubber just connects the 2, apply up high on leg where fluff starts and confine them for a day or 2.. works 75% of the time.. ive tried it maybe 40-50 times over years. I used to use regular thin rubber bands and sewing thread. When my eyes were much better, ha.. I’ll post if it’s a success this time or not..
