Hi all,
I've heard that chickens will begin laying between 4 and 6 months old. As I am waiting, impatiently, for my first eggs, I was wondering if there was anything I could try to get my girls laying closer to 4 months?

About the only thing you can give your girls would be great care. They will lay when they want and there really isn't anything you can do about it other than proper care, good food and lots of love. This is just my opinion but I have never heard of a sure fire way to make hens lay earlier.

Tryin' to do that the best that I can. Fed them spaghetti tonight, lol, they kept stealing it from each other, but it didn't entice them to go up the ladder like I had hoped. I did see one scoot up it, so maybe the rest will catch on quickly.
