Hello I am wanting to get some silkies and since east gate feed and grain is right over the mountain from me and I didn't want to call again to see what breeds they have mostly because the lady that answered the phone was rude and acted like an u know what I mean so I am not going to say it so I don't want to call again so does anyone know what breeds they get in the spring I will then have my breeding pen ready so I can get them from there or tractor supply but the problem with tractor supply is I am not down there every week and don't know what breeds they have without calling so I didn't want to deep with them unless I can make a special order or something but any way let me know what kind of chicks east gate feed and grain has thanks all replies are welcome

Nether of those stores post on line what they will carry. Reason......... Most likely they get assorted breeds and first come.... first choose. As to dealing with the person who has the attitude of a canine, Have someone with a lower slow speaking voice make the call.

Or ask to speak to a different department head. then quickly ask them to tell you the chick breeds.

Funny but I don't want to call again that makes me mad though I tryed looking on there website a while ago and I seen that the have a website but they don't even say what they sell

Yep, usually feed stores are first come, first served. Most of the time the employees don't know what they are anyway.

You know what, that rude lady answering the phone, thats her job. And if she doesn't want to do that job, maybe she should consider something else. *I* would call again. And ask for whoever is dealing with the chicks during that shift. They should at least be able to read the signs off to you. Be warned though, they'll probably tell you they've got "assorted pullets, assorted bantams and ducklings". The signs sometimes list possible breeds, but not always. Good luck!

Thanks but they don't get there chicks for anotherr month here so I am not calling right now though I just didn't know if anyone new what breeds they got in
