east indies ducks

I noticed east indie ducks lay marbled color eggs. Do they lay these colors at the begining of each laying cycle, or just when they are old enough to lay their first eggs?

MY BEI laid a couple of dozen eggs last Fall. They were white and about the size of hen eggs.

yea, thats a new one on me too?? All I have ever seen come from them is white to off white, you got some pics? I'd love to see those
