To anyone interested, there will be a poultry and livestock trades day in Gilmer, TX, on April 8th.

I will be there with chicks and hatching eggs. There is usually a very good turnout and a lot of quality birds and other livestock for anyone looking to find something new to bring home.

I spread the word to some chicken people in the Tyler and longview areas. I hope there is a big turn-out.

I called my daughter to see if she could go for me, and check it out. She is only 30 minutes away. (I'm almost 2 hours away.)
We have some grandchildren visiting that weekend, so no chance of me going. I need (NEED) a couple of bantam cochin girls for my little frizzle rooster.

I'm sure there will be Cochin bantams. Maybe she'll pick some up for you. There used to be a few people with Lemon Blue Bantams, but I don't know if anyone still has them.

Do you know if any of the breeders sell pol bantam pullets? I don't mind if they are younger, but I do not need more cockerels.

Polish bantams? I haven't seen any, but that doesn't mean there aren't some there.
