I have Pekins and Muscovies laying. They used to lay eggs in the back room of the garage attached to the pen, and in a little doghouse in the pen. Now, they lay them everywhere. I find them on the lawn, in my border gardens, in the garage, in the pen. I hunt for eggs every morning but clearly I haven't done a good job because tonight I found a nest of about 8 eggs under the deck.
Do ducks just lay eggs wherever they feel like it, or can I encourage them to pick a spot and stick with it?
