So i set up 6 - 5 gallon buckets for them to lay in and they were using them perfectly for 4 weeks or so! now all the sudden they decided that my nesting boxes wern't good enough for them! they have been laying eggs where ever they so please!
Its getting to the point when i find an egg i second guess my self thinking how long has this egg been here and i end up throwing them to the dogs!
my coop is an old 18' camper ive made the cupboards into boxes to and they used them for maybe a day.... seems like they like the back corner on the ground the best right now.....
Ive tried the golf ball trick.... i have golf balls scattered all over the camper were i would prefer them to lay.
Right now my only layers are
2 white leghorns
2 red sexed links,
rhode island red
black sexed link
soon my other batch should be getting old enough and i should be getting 18-20 eggs a day! would like to get this fixed asap
