I was just wondering if anyone has had an EE chick this color. If you have, i would love to see a picture of what it ended up being! I got it because it was white with black stripes, and the rest were brown with black stripes. I figured them to be just the traditional EE brown color, which i didn't really want. This chick is feathering out dark, so I'm curious if it will be brown like the others, or different. It does have white spots, but those could easily go away. I am posting pics of it, just for fun.

@Crazy for Chickens! here are pics of my 5wo EE chicks. We have 2 dark and 2 light colored ones. I labelled the dark ones #1 and #2, thinking I would be able to tell you which was which in the chick photo, but nope - they look pretty similar. One was larger than the other, but the size difference isn't apparent now. I'm amazed at how different they look. The one with the grey feathers looks similar to one of our other EE that is a year old. The black and gold of the other surprised me!

Thank you! Yours are so beautiful! I was hoping that mine would turn out like your light colored EEs, or something similar. Seeing how it's been feathering out, i think i'm going to get something more like your dark ones. I don't know what color the neck/head area will be yet, as it hasn't feathered out yet. It's still light colored as of now, but who knows! I will post some updated pics in a few weeks!

You know, it seems like it would be neat if we created some sort of thing where everyone posted a pic of their EE chick, and a pic of what it turned out to be! That way, if someone bought one, they could look and get a general idea of what it would look like.
