My BIL has some EEs that are just over a year old. One hen was laying in the run. She couldn't use her left leg. When food was thrown out, she sorta flopped her way over to it and ate. Her crop seemed swollen.
He's pretty minimalist so he culled her. Apparently, this is the second one to do this, He's guessing it's a genetic problem. I'm not convinced. He feeds them some gross stuff and I think we can improve the health of his whole flock.
I don't even know what to start with to begin figuring out what's going on. Any help is appriciated.
