Easter Egger posing as a Speckled Sussex!

I posted this same topic elsewhere & don't know where! lol -- I'll attach a picture... she has emerald green legs & we know now that she's not a Speckled Sussex (she's 6 weeks old). Thoughts? This photo is of her when she was 1 or 2 weeks old.




here she is recently -- at 5 weeks old... in the back/middle -- gold plumage around the neck...


 
thank you! that's what we thought. we just weren't sure about Auracana vs. Easter Egger??? but then we read Auracana don't have tails...

They are easy to tell apart when you know what you are looking for. Auracanas have very silly looking feathers sweeping back from right under their eyes. Like they just had a pillow fight and got feathers stuck to their face.

EEs usually have a mountain man beard. Very stoic and manly.
 
Some Auracanas have tails, but not all. Rumpless is considered the ideal, but they don't always work out that way.
