ETA: We've found a home!

(Long time lurker, new chicken owner... sorry this is my first post.)

We're suburban backyard chicken-keepers, but one of our "hens" has turned out to not be a hen at all.

Meet Sally (or maybe Sal), our 12 week old Easter Egger Rooster. He likes to escort his ladies around the yard, nom on grass and bugs, and hop up next to me when I'm sitting outside to eat treats from my hand, but unfortunately, even friendly roosters are not allowed to stay in our city zoning.

So Sally needs a new home. He's been "free-ranged" in our backyard for most of his short life, and is looking for a place that he can have his own little harem, cock-a-doodle-do, and maybe eventually make little Sals.

We're willing to drive out a couple of hours in search of a good home for Sal, so if you're interested in him and just over the Cascades, across the Puget Sound, or a fair bit north or south, please contact us anyway. We'll make the drive to get him somewhere he can be himself. We know you probably won't spoil him as much as us, and that's okay. We're just hoping to find him a place where he can run around and be a rooster for many years to come.

Thanks for reading!
