Hello all!
My first time owning chickens... I incubated some eggs I got from mypetchicken and all my other chicken sex is obvious except for one.... Jackson (my 3yo son named it after himself). Jackson is an Easter Egger. Jackson acted like a rooster early on, always puffing his chest out and fighting with my other known rooster. He is now 8 weeks and has calmed down a bit. He is still the most vocal of the bunch. Here are some pictures of Jackson. He is the largest of them all and has a pea comb. Can anyone tell me if I have a pullet or cockerel? Thanks again!

...boy is it hard to take a picture of a chicken!

hello, all. After a long hiatus, I am back. My user name is no longer correct, as our dog has died, we now have two cats, and we have three "big girl" hens and now these four Easter egger chicks.
We got them almost three weeks ago at Tractor Supply, so I guess they are about that old. I am concerned that the white one is a cockerel. If it is, he's going to have to go one way or another, because we can't have a roo where we live.
PLEASE.............against all odds, tell me all four are hens!!

It is quite early, but the white one is a cockerel.

If you wait a few weeks and start your own thread with new pics, we may have a better idea on the rest.

I was afraid of that.....😢
It was slower to feather out than the other ones, and now its comb is more pink than the other three....any suggestions on ways to rehome him?
So sad...he's the most sociable of the three, as you can see! Hopped right up onto my hand.

I use Craigslist and have had great luck that way. I still get updates on one of my boys I rehomed 2 years ago.
