Is this a pullet? I’ve had for 5 months. I haven’t heard it crow. It’s super flighty now and was the calmest as a chick.

idk 5 months and no crowing? You might just have a beefy pullet there. I'm not sure if I can see saddle feathers or not. My EE roo was a big boy, and he had an insane tail that was hard to miss. Does your bird display any rooster behaviors like mounting or random aggression or hen behaviors like squatting?

They have been fluffing up their neck feathers at each other since the 100% crowing rooster (HUGE White Rock) was removed. I figured they were just resetting the pecking order but I don’t know. There were 2 with bloody crowns/scalps right after (treated and healed up fast). It’s been a few weeks. I haven’t seen any mounting behaviors but my 2 others that keep fluffing feathers at the EE are kind of sassy (silver laced Wyandotte and black Australorp). All three of them charge at each other from across the lawn. (Orpington was one of the injured, she doesn’t charge.

And another EE is a tiny sickly thing that they all just kind of leave her be. (Recurrent sour crop & now pendulous crop.)
