Hello folks,

I have done business with MMcM in the past (15-25 years ago) and always received healthy, beautiful birds, some even did very well in the local showing circuit. Have been out of birds for the last 15 years, (divorce, no more farm, miss the critters, not the ex-husband :)

Anyway, was wondering if anyone could tell me about the standard version of their EE's? Lots of various colors, facial poufs, any concerns, etc? I will have a small backyard flock for my enjoyment, eggs. I have never done the Americana/ EE's before. I was taken by the notes of how friendly these birds are.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I have 5 Americanas from Murray McMurray, and each has its own color pattern. They are all individual, which different personalities, but they are so very friendly!!! The only issue I have had is that they have escaped every fence Ive put up, but their wings are not clipped. I would recommend this breed

I was happy with my EE's from MM that I have purchased in the past. They were all different colors from one that looked like an eagle to a buff sort of color :(probably more wheaton colored). Egg colors ranged from blue to greenish.
