It's day 9 of my hatch. I was marking the air cells on my incubating eggs just now when I noticed that all of my Easter Egger eggs seem farther along in their development than my other varieties are. All the EE embryos were larger and more active than the others. I started them all at the same time, so I'm wondering if Easter Eggers are known for particularly fast development or bigger than average chicks or something? There seems to be nothing wrong with the others, they're just smaller and their veins are less extensive. Can anybody shed some light on this? Have any of you more experienced hatchers had a similar experience?
