?? Easter Eggers

I was wondering if you guys thought anyone would be interested in my mixed pen hatching eggs? They would be easter eggers.

I have a buff ameraucana rooster in with hens that are blue, bluff, black, white and some mixed birds.

I have some nice blue egg layers in there and some green, & etc. But the hens are of pet quality.

I have seen people selling easter egger eggs for $25.00 a dozen on here. So hey, since I have a rooster in there already I thought I would ask.

are the mixed birds just color mixed ameraucanas, or mixed breed? If mixed breeds, do they lay blue/green?

Sure! I love having EEs in my egg pens!

I would say YES! I plan to have some Ameraucanas in my EE pen... so mixed colored Ameraucanas would be a wonderful addition... especially with nice blue eggs

I wuld say go for it, epecially since we know your birds are ameraucanas!! I too have been surprised at what EE eggs have been selling for! EE is such a general term, it's hard to say what they are usually. I have a whole bunch of "EE's", from an EE hen and a dutch roo. They are still EE, but nothing like yours are!
