Still I could be wrong...EE are very picky about some things. Not as bad as silkies though. Mine won't eat anything except laying feed. Lol.

My 5 EEs have averaged 25 eggs per week all winter. They just seem to be slowing down a little now as I've only had 11 eggs in the last 4 days.
