Easter Ramblings!

Easter is coming and I have realized something...
I got chickens a year ago and this is my first Easter with them. I have noticed Easter propaganda has taken on a new meaning...
a) now I understand the whole chick thing, before I was like what do chicks have to do with Easter??
b) Because of "a" I am constantly reminded it is chick season and that does NOT help my fuzz butt cravings!
c) It is the time of year I can easily get fake eggs for my broody hens
d) people always think you are getting fake eggs for craft projects, this provides a special opportunity to educate people about chickens
e) I would never color my eggs now, knowing all my ladies go through to lay those things!
f) because of "e" I now feel the urge to get EE's so I don't have to worry about "e" and still keep my litle sis happy.

These are just my feelings I thought I'd share...

IDK but when we color eggs we eat them they never get trashed or left out they get refridgerated and we normally make the kids fav. deviled egg
