Eastern Panhandle WV (MD, VA, PA) Chickenstock -July10th Gower's Feed

Thank you soooo much! I like to be prepared just in case!

Im afraid Im going to have to hand over the Chickenstock reins to someone else. I just found out Im moving. My father is having a hard time keeping up w/ the old homestead in Sharpsburg, MD so he's moving in w/ his GF and Rus and I are moving into the farmhouse. To those of you who know where I live, this is a dream come true to me as I will finally have some room. Though it is bittersweet. My husband and I love our home and have spent the last 6 years making it ours and doing so many improvements, it's barely recognizable from it's former self. We will be renting it though... so, it will still be there

Biggest things I'll miss:

#1 AIR CONDITIONING

#2 CABLE (lines aren't close enough to connect)

#3 PRIVACY (my younger brother also lives there though there's still plenty of room)

#4 drywall (this house has plaster and everytime you hit a screw in to hang a picture, half the wall comes down)

#5 mowing a 3rd of an acre and being done

#6 not very many predators where I live. We SEE coons, foxes, hawks on a regular basis there.

I'll still design flyers and help as much as I can... just can't handle the total responsibility right now as our projected move out date is sometime in September.

I love you guys and Im still a West Virginian through and through

Its nice to see dreams come true! I just hope you can get someone to take over that knows all you do to keeps thing going smooth.

To Erin and Rusty, That's good and bad news. It's good that you will have a place in the country to further your interests, but a lost for me and Suzanne, who admire you for your openess and creativity. Best wishes to you both. My inlaws used to live in Sharpsburg and my sister in law lives in Keedysville, which is just down the road. You will be just over the river from West Virginia, so you are not moving far, far away.

Sorry I missed it Erin!
It has been a loooonnnnng time since I signed in. Had to take on a full time job to support my hobby job (pottery studio) LOL.
Hope all is well with you and yours!
Thank you for keeping me in mind. I will be better about checking in with BYC more often now that my work schedule has evened out.
