Lets see....Max (chow cross) knows"go to the house", "shake","sit","stay","drop it" and a version of leave it, "its not for you!" He will ignore anything I tell him to.
My daughter has also taught him not to eat anything she sets on the floor unless she says it is okay. He will sit and stare at something FOREVER but wont touch it.
Our dachshunds know "sit" and "stay" and they play hide and seek. I will hold one of them while my daughter hides and I say "go find!" and her name.

You should teach him a stop command, too. It will come in handy when his herding instincts kick in and he wants to harass people and critters. He should know to stop whatever he is doing and either sit where he is or return to you when you give the stop command. The earlier he learns that one, the better.
