Easy much needed shade

Sun's here! 80 degrees and hot in my new building today! The smoked polycarb panels do help a bit over clear ones but it's still basically a greenhouse. I picked up a shade sail today $15 bucks. It's 13 feet each side of the triangle, covers enough to help lots. Considering a second one.

I have sunflowers and peas planted on the sunny sides but this will be great until they grow up some.

I use coolaroo shade cloths...(6x15 was only $35 when I bought mine)...
.....and sunchokes.....for shade.

I'm going to get some sunchokes for next year to try. I had tons of sunflower seeds already, they are starting to grow well so should be useful soon. I'm using the monster 15' ones that I can lean over onto the building.

Might need more shade so I'll check that out, thanks!
