Eat Moles... Really?

How efficient are the Guineas at hunting and eating moles?
Also, do they seek out mice and rats, or eat opportunistically?

Since moles are underground dwellers, I suspect that the guineas wouldn't be very efficient at catching moles. They will very quickly devour a nest of baby mice if they happen to find it. I had voles move into the guinea coop at the beginning of winter but have not seen any sign of them lately so I think the guineas handled that problem.

Rats are on the large size and are unlikely to be prey for guineas who are more of insect hunters and only really take small rodents opportunistically.

I wouldn't get guineas and expect them to control your rodent problem.
