Eat your greens!

So people on here talk about how much their chickens go nuts over cabbage and greens and stuff. My chickens are like little kids, they do not like anything green and leafy. I see them picking at grass and the bushes sometimes but they won't touch anything like that that I give them. Kale, nope. Romaine, nope. Head of cabbage enticingly dangling inside their run, not a single bite. I dont get it. They'll eat other vegetables. Cucumber, zucchini...etc

Try giving them some herbs

If they are young still it is not unusual for them to reject treats that they will go bonkers for as adults.

If they are ranging....it sounds like they are....they may just be finding tastier fare.

My chicken used to do that when they were younger too...but after several times of trying, they now know its good stuff! I would say to just give it some time. I had to first mix a whole bunch of things together and then chop it up really thin until they got used to it. Now they can eat a whole piece on their own.

My chicks were like that when we first got them. They are now 8 and 5 weeks old and they love grass and clovers. They go nuts over clovers.
