eating Bantams

Ok Just wondering if anyone knows. My son and I discussed dressing out extra bantam roos like he does his quail he hunts. I understand many think they are only decorative but if this would work, it would not be such a waste of birds we are already feeding.

You can eat any chicken. The important thing is that the older they are the more they need to be cooked slow and with moisture.

You might get more meat from a quail.... We won a game bird bantam roo in a raffle. Some friends said it would be athletic enough to give it flying exercise for a dark meat special. We're going to give it a try
