Eating fertile eggs???

"Unprocessed egg"?! What... she thinks they're pasturized or something?! How sad that we have become so detached from the food that we eat.

I couldn't agree more. I had a 'city person' tell me today how gross it was that I would even consider eating something that my pet "just **** out", to which I could only laugh and say "Where did you think the store eggs you buy come from? Little egg fairies?!" and walked away.

It is sad. You have to either get angry or laugh it off. I used t angry, now I just laugh. lol My daughters favorite Tshirt is my new motto: "I like stupid people. They make me laugh!" lol But nothing will top my bumper sticker: "The more people I meet, the more I enjoy the company of my PETS!"

There are many types of vegetarians. I am lacto ovo vege. Meaning I eat eggs and milk. True vegans however, do not eat any animal byproducts, eggs included. It is a very very strict diet.
