I am new and everytime my hens lay an egg, we stick it in the incubator. We have eggs in there that started on July 1st and have been stored from 99-100 degrees. If they are not fertile, can we still eat them?

I'm no expert, but the answer is 'no' I'm pretty sure. Also, they will rot and explode if you don't take out the ones that don't hatch in the allotted time (21 days - I think - give or take a day or two) I think you are supposed to mark the date on the outside of the egg so that you know how long.... I'm sure some experts will give you more info... :)

Nope, at least I wouldn't. I scramble up any duds and quitters I have throughout incubation and feed them back to the flock, shell and all. I can't stand just pitching them in the trash!
