I have 2 Silky roos which are mating my 3 EE's. Now I'm wondering what their chicks might look like. Has anyone got any pictures of these crosses. Could I end up with a silky that lays colored eggs?

First generation silkie crosses are typically smooth feathered unless both birds have silkie in their genetic make-up. You may get birds with five toes like the silkie, or not. Colors will be wild and pretty for sure. They will be "toppies" which means they'll have some sort of crest on their head. Combs will likely be larger than a pea comb and smaller than the walnut comb. Skin tends to be anywhere from grey to black.

And they stand a good chance of laying green eggs if the mother lays green/blue eggs.

I have 1, it is very pretty. Feathered like a EE but black feathered feet, and a longer feathers on top of her/his head. When I go outside in a while I will get a picture for you.

Here's my silkie x EE, she's black with a bit of red bleeding through in the hackles. She's between bantan and large fowl size, but closer to LF. She has 5 teos, semi-feathered feet, black skin, bluish earlobes, walnut comb and lays a greenish blue, silkie-sized egg.
