EE broody???

we have an EE that went missing earlier in the week, she came home a day and a half later only to go missing again about an hour after we noticed her back!!! she was gone for another 1 1/2 days and just showed up again!! this time we caught her and clipped her wings so she cant fly over the fence again. she's all puffed up and doing the 'tom turkey' strut w/wings down. do you think she's trying to 'hatch' eggs some where? or something else??? making a lot of noise, low clucking? doesn't seem remotely sick.

Sounds like she is broody, I have some EEs and EE crosses who are broody right now.
