I am about to order chicks, and thought a few ducks might be fun we have a pond that they can live out their lives in. Can the chicks and ducks be in the brooder together? I have never had ducks before and thought why not. Thanks for any info!!!!

Your ducklings will quickly make a wet mess out of the brooder, they will eat some feed then need to wash it down, chicks should stay warm and dry, it's best to brood them separately.

Okay, thanks for the input. I will pass on ducks for now and brood them separately after I get my chicks out into the coop.
