The other is now a wonderful layer of really pretty green eggs. I need to dig out some pics of all them. I have found EE crosses to be some of my favorite mixed breed birds. They are just so strong. I always joke the EE eggs would be fertile even without a rooster. I have hatched 100% of all I have set.
Sounds like adding a sexlink production bred might be the way to go. Maybe I'll add a hen to my flock!
