EE gender-wanna take a stab at it...pics

here's one of our EE's, would you consider this color to be silver? it has the slate legs, we're thinking about trying to pass it off as an Amerucana, only if you think it would pass for silver.my son's in 4H, which is not a big deal about the coloring, but he wants to put it in the open show,too. should we save our $2.50 entry fee?

also can you tell if it's a roo or hen. it's about 3 months old.

It's a silver colored pullet; but the legs do look willow to me (kind of hard to tell in pics). But, the coloring is off to be considered a silver Ameraucana. Pretty girl, though!

You might look at the Ameraucana association website at www.ameraucana.org They have good pictures of the different colors at maturity. Good luck!

Sure looks Silver to me, what a pretty chicken, check to see if it has spurs. That way you will know for sure. Wonder if it is a mix to get this wonderful color. Post a note when you find out. Good luck.
