Here are a couple photos of my 6 week old EE. She is definitely the leader of the flock so far but is also a friendly and easy to handle bird. She is bigger than my other chicks but I have just assumed she is a bit older since she was one of only a few EE left when we got her. Is it too early to determine gender? Her legs are thick so that has me concerned she could be a rooster? She doesn’t have much of a comb going on right now. Is this considered a pea comb? Thanks for all of your thoughts!

Pullet. The comb would have some color by now if a male. We have an accidental male EE (sexed as female, but obviously one of the errors), who is 9 weeks old, and the comb was pretty telling by 6 weeks, particularly in comparison with the other sexed EEs from same batch.
