EE Genders, Help Please! (lots of pictures)

Okay, so I was supposed to have all pullets

but we know how that works! I have a couple I am wondering if they aren't roosters so I thought I would get an opinion here!

3 and 5 look suspicious to me.... I have two the same age and neither have a comb that pronounced. I heard they were tricky though!

I must be getting better at this "sexing" thing because I was thinking #3 and 5 looked like roos and that seems to be the consensus.

I agree 3 and 5 are roos, but I also think 6 is a roo, based on the color. You have some pretty birds

3 and 5 are cockerels.


6 is on the fence - sometimes a subordinate cockerel will not show his "true colors" until older or the dominate cockerels are gone. "He" has a fairly wide comb, and it looks like maybe 3 rows of peas (or an attempt at 3 rows)


At this age, the pullets generally have one tiny visible row of peas or no rows.
