hello everybody I am trying to get rid of Breeze, my 2 1/2 year old EE hen. She doesn’t really lay eggs. Last year I think she only laid 7 and so far this year 2. We can’t afford to keep feeding her for such little egg production. Also she is becoming too aggressive for our mixed flock and decided the broody bantam hen is the perfect target. She does way better near the bottom of a pecking order. She isn’t too skittish around people and I usually am able to catch her and pick her up with a little bit of work. She doesn’t have any diseases or pests as I check all my birds regularly. She is a beautiful bird and would probably serve as more the ornamental type. If you are lucky enough to get an egg it’ll be teal and probably one of the best tasting eggs you have ever had. My whole family agrees that her eggs taste the best.
Here are some pics and also the broken tail feather is already gone.

She really is beautiful!

Hey guys she laid some more eggs! Hallelujah! I need to get better pictures of her. I’m just soo busy to try to get her to pose for a picture especially at the time light hits the yard best.

Did Breeze find a new home yet? I've got two older hens that she might like to hang out with. I don't care about the egg production so much. I just want Laverne and Shirley to have another girl to socialize with. Let me know. Thanks! :)

Oh Im sorry that I didn't get back to you. Backyard chickens decided that I don't need to be sent alerts anymore. Yes she is still here!

No problem. If you're still interested in re-homing her you can private message me and let me know what city you're in, and then maybe we can come and meet her. :)
