I read all through the threads here and couldn't find one that is like mine where they told us results....so I'm posting my own. here are some on pictures of my Piper's EE Frizzle (Dad is dashing Tall Fluffy Silkie) double. This is day 9. Do I continue? Do I cull? They are in an incubator with all the others, I penciled shapes so I could remember to turn. but I have to open and turn on my own because it doesn't fit into the turning slats. That could be a problem in itself for the other eggs.
Just curious if anybody has any advice for me. It's my first double. They both seem to be doing fine right now but it's very early. Sounds like most of the advice on here is you can try it but results are dismal. So I may not be able to handle the heartache, but it is awfully interesting and a bit rare. So willing to try if everyone thinks it's a good idea!

Generally there is not enough space for both chicks to develop properly. Sometimes they can hatch - generally with help, but the advice you have found here is generally correct.
She laid another one! What's going on! The first is still looking okay in the incubator. I think they're both alive so far but the green egg makes it hard to see.

Results of the first double. Had to help it hatch. It was strong. I let it try for about 24 hours before it looked like it needed a little bit of help, I saved one of the two the other one didn't develop. It's in the incubator now. Not sure if it will survive but fingers crossed!
