EE muffs? (genetics)

I have 3 EE hens and a EE roo and all have muffs. I heard some where that if I breed them some of the offspring will die

of some thing called ( I think) the triple muff gene. Are they right?

No, they are wrong. They are thinking of the Araucana, which has tufts and carries a lethal gene.

What Cyn is telling you is correct...muffs are not a lethal gene.

Tufts are the lethal gene and are only present on araucana.
