Heck, my mixes that people claim are EEs all lay white or cream eggs. I don't even get brown eggs from them.Yeah, I remember twenty years ago when I had what I now know were Easter Eggers and they all laid blue or green. I remember being inordinately pleased with myself when I crossed a Marans hen to my EE rooster and got a pullet that laid army green eggs. That was back before the "Olive Egger" was all the rage. And now people are making Fibro EE/OE and a bunch of other nonsense that basically amounts to a bunch of mongrel birds whose type and egg color are all over the place. And with the addition of the CCL to the EE mix, it's just further messed up what little they had going for them for type. lol
