EE pullet or roo?......

I'm almost afraid to ask. Was assured when I got her that she was a girl, but have noticed that 'she' has a much bigger comb and wattles than our other four girls. This one is also painfully shy and keeps to herself.

I am also trying to sex my EE's. I have 5. Two, maybe three, look like they might be getting a "beard". I have not noticed any combs or wattles. They were hatched in early June.

That is not a EE. I think EEs have just pea combs. But that does look like a hen.

Really? Not an EE? I was told it was an EE/Ameraucaua and that those were basicaly the same thing. Hhmm...

That is a Brown Leghorn hen.

They are but EEs have pea combs like ameraucanas. Sorry but that is not a EE.
