EE roo over black Sumatra -- Will the offspring lay green eggs?

I think they should, how soon will you be hatching chicks?

I do not know for sure..........I know white cleans up a green layer, so the offspring will lay a "bluer" egg. But it might matter what egg colors your roo carries (what color egg did he come from).

I have some home-bred EEs that I am waiting to see what they lay also. I took an APA Ameraucana and crossed him over some of my big heavy Orpington girls. Should give me green layers who have some nice size.



Excited to see pictures.
