Anybody have this combination?

I recently had my ee roo with a few ee hens and br hens... there was also a RIR roo in the run and now that they've hatched I'm wondering if anyone else has had some of this hatch and grow?

Anybody have pictures?

I don't have any pictures but i did hatch out some and they were silver in color at hatch!!! I have some more due to hatch this weekend! I'll post pics when they do!

The pictures may or may not be buried in my files somewhere, it would take a week to find them!

But I had an gorgeous EE rooster over BR hens. They were sex linked. The pullets were black, the cockerals were barred. Didn't show up for a week or two. I was very pleased about it, and to this day I still don't understand genetics!

Good to know! I'm just about to set some eggs. I have EE roos and a BR hen. I was wondering how they might come out. (Although my BR hen is moulting a bit right now and not laying a lot of eggs. I'm HOPING she donates at least one egg to the brood!)

This hen and her sister were sired by an EE rooster over BR hen. She laid very pinkish eggs.

That's a FABULOUS hen!!! Although your roo is much darker than mine. One of my EE roos is basically all white with a HUGE green/black tail. The other is mostly white with a black breast and even bigger green/black tail. I LOVE the idea of "pinkish" eggs too!!!!
