I have the chance to get a few 6 week old ee roos.... Can I bulk them up and then butcher them when there older? Are they good eating?

If they are free, go for it. Obviously want be a cornish cross or any thing but they can get a good size.
I have two that will be chicken soup this fall or winter.
The two I have are 17 weeks and are meaner then a caged coon.
(see chicken behavior thread)

We don't bother eating EE roos. They are scrawny and never get much meat. So tiny you can't get a hand inside them to clean them. And super tough!

We did it once and decided it wasn't worth the trouble. Now extra EE roos go to auction.
