Eee! Incubator got down to 90F on day 14??

Any chance the chicks may survive? I don't know how long it was cool - an hour, perhaps, and that was the low point, when I found it. It would have cooled slowly. It had gotten too warm, and I meant to leave the lid open briefly to bring the temperature down a half a degree. I got distracted.

I closed the lid and covered it with a blanket to help the temp come up again. It's still slowly climbing. It's about 98F now.

We have encountered similiar instances, never harmingg a thing, if your ambient temp. happened to be around normal room temp., there shouldnt be an issue. You can kinda relate this to the hen getting off the nest for a drink and some nutritional intake. I really wouldnt be too concerned over this, for your NOT the first one to have this happen to them. lol
