I know I should not complain, but I don't think my EEs will ever lay. I have 10 pullets - 3 barred rocks, 2 buff orpingons, 2 rhoode island reds, 2 easter eggers and 1 partridge cochin - I got them all the first week of September and everyone is laying except my easter eggers. Will they ever lay? They are 6 months old.

I'm gettign more chicks in April -I bet they will even start laying before my easter eggers

You're fine! You're just fine. . . 6 months is when they should start, and some of my hatchery birds didn't start until 7 months. You just gotta wait until they start squatting in their nesting boxes (or sometimes they lay on the run) and/or make a LOT of noise.

So give em time it's gonna happen , I have one EE and she started laying again this year just about a month ago but I am in east texas and spring sprung last month. Illa - I'm so jelous or your eggs - those are beautoful!!! Are the brown ones from marans?

Keep in mind EEs can lay any colored eggs so they may be laying some brown eggs for you but you have never seen them in the egg box.
